Health Management Physicians
Dr. Toshiro KonishiGraduated from the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo in 1972. Until March 2013, served as Assistant Director and Chief Surgeon at NTT Medical Center Tokyo.
Dr. Konishi is renowned for his achievement as a gastrointestinal surgeon for 40 years at the front line of cancer therapy with cumulative total operation of 2,500, dissemination of the concept of clinical pathway, and pioneering measures against nosocomial infection. Based on his experience as a cancer patient, he actively appeals for the importance of early detection of cancer by the routine medical examinations. Since 2010, he has been serving as president of incorporated NPO Cancer Net Japan to support patient-centered cancer therapy.
He is also serving as vice-president of Tokyo Healthcare University, and still engaging in medical practice at Kenkoigaku Association Toto Clinic.
